2006 Capital Community of South Dakota

We are a small, friendly community located on the southwest end of the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. Our area is primarily a cattle ranch community and depot for the BNSF Railway. Our location is perfect for the hunter, fisherman, or the vacationer as we are located within a short driving distance of all major lakes, rivers and tourist attractions in the Black Hills. Edgemont is also home to the Mickelson Trail southern Trailhead, which offers cycling, horseback riding and hiking through the beautiful Black Hills. Don’t forget to visit Edgemont’s Trails, Trains & Pioneers Museum. We also welcome businesses, as we are well suited for expansion.
