Join us for a beautiful horseback or horse-drawn wagon ride through Driftwwod Canyon on Black Hills National Forest north of Edgemont.  As always, we will have wagons available for those who do not care to ride a horse. Pre-registration by May 22 is required.

Directions to starting point:
You will receive a map and directions to the starting point with your registration confirmation.  Please plan to arrive early as wagons will roll at 10:00 a.m. sharp. 

Making reservations:
Please complete a registration form for your party and a liability release form for each person in your party and return it by May 22 to reserve a place on the ride. 

Breakfast before the Buena Vista Trail Ride:
The Trails, Trains & Pioneers Museum next to the Park in downtown Edgemont is hosting a pancake breakfast the ride from 6:30 to 9:00 a.m. The cost is $3.50. 

Lunch:
We will be stopping along the trail to eat.  If you wish to order a lunch, please indicate this on your reservation sheet.  Lunch will consist of roast beef/cheese or ham/cheese sandwich, chips, apple, cookie, bottled water, and soda pop. 

Cost:
The cost for wagon riders is $10 and includes lunch. The cost fro horseback riders is $6. Advance payment is required.

Dinner after the Buena Vista Trail Ride:
Edgemont has four dinner options:  Remember When on Main Street, the Victory Steakhouse on Main Street, PJ’s Casino at Junction 471 and Highway 18, and Fresh Start also at Junction 471 and Highway 18.

Lodging:
For lodging, please contact Sunrise Ranch, a western-style lodge conveniently located within a few miles of the trailhead.  A guest room, breakfast and room for your horse (you bring feed) is $85 per night.  They can be reached by visiting www.sunriseguestranch.com or calling 605-685-3376.
